
Support for those in need – Chippenham Charity Fund
The Chippenham Charity Fund, originally established in 1679 by Delamere and Francis, has a long-standing history of helping the community. In 2020, it was formed through the merger of Lord Orford’s Charity for Poor, Sir Rivett’s Charity, Tetsalls’ Charity and Tharps Charity.
The Fund offers grants in line with its charitable objectives which is to help those who are in conditions of financial need, financial hardship or financial distress and are a resident in the Parish of Chippenham, Cambridgeshire.
The Fund generates income through leasing agricultural land.
You can apply for help with utility/heating bills, supermarket vouchers, help with equipment and resources for young people starting work, and help to replace domestic appliances. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list.

Applications are reviewed within 20 working days, but the Charity will endeavour to respond before this deadline. Applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
